Rising from the pit of darkness comes the maddening sound of organ playing, each note struck as a glorious clarion call for revenge. Soon, murder fills the mind of the organist, and there is only one refrain to his dirge: as nine killed his wife, so nine must die. You might say he's abhorrent, but we know him as The Abominable Dr. Phibes. As each wax effigy burns, Matt and Jason will take you through this 1971 payback tale, bringing you plenty about American International Pictures, Vincent Price, various Satanic connections in this film, personal musings, and how not to panic after spilling red wine on an off-white carpet. It's like a magical drunken ride on a catapulted brass unicorn. Yes, it is THAT awesome. So, tune in or spend an eternity... in DOOM!   -- www.terrortransmission.com  -- www.purgingtalon.com

It's showtime! But, there's more under the big top than just circus acts, smiling children, and cotton candy. The biggest show this night... is murder. And deceit. And betrayal. And... missing arms? The mystery of this perplexing combination unfolds as Matt and Jason shine the commentary spotlight on the 1927 silent flick, The Unknown. We'll give you all you need to know about Lon Chaney, as well as the usual insight, wit, and off-track delights that Terror Transmission (and whiskey) can bring. Fun for the whole family... if your family is a bunch of maniacs and malcontents.  -- www.terrortransmission.com -- www.purgingtalon.com

Welcome to the Tanz Academy, where strange colors and gruesome murders await you. Your first class of the day will be a real killer, so take notes because the instructors will be giving commentary on the 1977 Italian gorefest, Suspiria. You might have come to learn ballet, but you'll instead get lots of film details, lewd observations, various subtexts revealed, and an uncomfortable amount of ridicule aimed at the most unfortunate of folks. And if that's not enough... it's got Udo Kier! After the feature, stick around for the usual chatter from Matt and Jason on what they've recently seen on DVD. Sure beats meeting up with... The plan of attack includes extensive details on the film, personal anecdotes, and enough inappropriate humor to warm up all of your hypothermic limbs. Reports are now coming in of a strange crash landing of a metallic spacecraft deep inside the Arctic ice. Hungry for blood, its otherworldly pilot stalks the barren tundra, seemingly unstoppable. Then, a lone beacon penetrates the harsh weather. Better than the Emergency Broadcast System, it's our commentary for the 1951 sci-fi spine-chiller, The Thing From Another World. This attention signal is followed by official information, including film background, wine-fueled tangents, sexual innuendos galore, and the horror-driven wit that is Matt and Jason. Our test concludes with chatter on recent DVD viewings and what's coming up next. Watch the skies, Terror Fiends!   -- www.terrortransmission.com  -- www.purgingtalon.com

The curse of Satan has been placed. And only Matt and Jason can aid you in removing the killing mask and avenging your bloodline through their commentary on the 1960 Bava classic, Black Sunday (also known as The Mask of Satan). It's like a succulent Italian feast of evil, but with some perversion and vampirism sprinkled on top. Oh, sweet Barbara Steele's cleavage, it is delicious! After your gruesome meal, stay tuned for M&J's recent DVD viewings, and a new listener contest giveaway. Que bella! -- www.terrortransmission.com  -- www.purgingtalon.com

The Colony. A relaxing retreat for those in need of escaping the hustle and bustle of urban life. A gathering of supportive and like-minded individuals. A place to collect one's thoughts... of transforming into a rampaging lycanthropic beast bent on carnage and wild abandon. Yes, it's werewolf time once more, and Matt and Jason are bringing out their own version of fang and claw with their commentary on the 1981 splatter spectacular, The Howling. All bases are covered: film background, philosophy, special effects, history, boobies... you know, the important stuff. Then stick around post-movie for M&J's chat on their recent DVD viewings. -- www.terrortransmission.com  -- www.purgingtalon.com

The Kaiju onslaught has begun and Tokyo's not the only town in trouble. Whether by land or by sky, the monster attack is on and Matt and Jason are there with their commentary for the 1968 suitmation smackdown known as Destroy All Monsters. The roll call is impressive: Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Rodan, Baragon, Varan, Kumonga, Manda, Anguirus, Minilla and Gorosaurus. Through an oriental haze of Sake and Plum Wine, M&J give you so much background and fun on this flick, you'll want to breathe fire and stomp on major cities posthaste. He comes from out of the murky depths, covered in slime and waiting to viciously seize you with his cold and clammy hands. He's tenacious, he's hungry for flesh, he's... Jason on a cheap wine-fueled bender at the strip bars? Well, yes, but it's also an apt description for the star of our commentary's movie, 1954's Creature From The Black Lagoon. Guided by two strange men wearing 3-D glasses, your fateful Amazonian expedition will take you farther and farther downstream to witness all of the fun and fear of this Universal classic. After the film, stick around for M&J's recent horror DVD viewings and some serious hint-dropping on the next movie. So, jump on in for a swim... perhaps, your very last. -- www.terrortransmission.com  -- www.purgingtalon.com

Dust off your terry cloth bathrobes and eyeball pentacle necklaces because it's time for Matt and Jason to put on the commentary cheer for the 1977 drive-in devil flick, Satan's Cheerleaders. Through margarita goggles, M&J relay the finer points of '70s extracurricular erotica with a cheesy devil-worship edge, going deep into the hirsute jungle in order to tell the tale to you fine pre-verts. After the feature, expect listener mail, contest details, and more. One for all and all for one, Terror Transmission has a ball (or... four)! -- www.terrortransmission.com -- www.purgingtalon.com

We hoist our brews to late menstruation, shower scenes, outsider teen revenge, and the lip-glossed bitch goddess that is Nancy Allen. Okay, maybe that last part is just Matt talking, but do listen in and get all of the inside scoop on this highest moment in the directorial career of Brian De Palma. "Here are two men with impure hearts, who never say their prayers at night, but become wolves when the podcast starts, and the beer is chilled just right."

Yes, this is our completely hokey segue to the description of our commentary on the 1941 masterpiece of lycanthropic study known as The Wolf Man. Take a journey to the shadowy borderlands of man's animal nature, or simply enjoy two drinking guys chatting up their love for classic horror. You have a choice, unlike that poor Larry Talbot. After the feature, we'll have our post-movie talk and maybe say some other clever things. AHHH-OOH! -- www.terrortransmission.com -- www.purgingtalon.com
